Description
Starting from May 2023, "Son Forteza" is undergoing a transformation following a change of ownership, featuring a completely renovated interior and exterior. Additionally, all furniture and sanitary facilities have been replaced. The roof has been meticulously insulated to create a pleasant indoor atmosphere and have a sustainable impact on energy costs.
"Son Forteza" is a beautiful holiday property situated on a 2,000-square-meter plot at the edge of the Tramuntana Mountains in the north of Mallorca, in Crestatx between Sa Pobla and Pollença. It is surrounded by nature and boasts various types of fruit trees, including prickly pears, banana trees, and native trees like holm oaks, which, along with pine trees, populate the entire wooded area and the urbanization.
The expansive garden features a swimming pool right outside the terrace door (9 x 3.5 meters), inviting relaxation and rejuvenation. For sun enthusiasts or those seeking shade, there are various options in the natural garden. The entire living area is on one level, and all bedrooms are accessible through a separate entrance in the house. The rooms and living area are individually and modernly designed, equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, and blinds or pleated shades. Both bedrooms have bathrooms with showers, which are directly connected to the respective bedrooms and can be separated by doors from the master bedroom. All windows have mosquito nets and blinds. Daylight wells flood the rooms with natural light in the lounge and dining area, as well as in the kitchen. From the front door of the house, you have a continuous view of the pool and the garden.
The property is completely naturally fenced without compromising your privacy. Parking is available right in front of the house or in the courtyard. In the courtyard, you can also securely store bicycles.

Sa Pobla - Crestaitx is located on the edge of the Tramuntana Mountains in the north of Mallorca. Villa Son Forteza is situated in this wonderfully tranquil location. It takes approximately 35 minutes by car to reach Sa Pobla-Crestaitx from Palma or the airport. From here, you can easily access many interesting destinations. Alcúdia is 12 km away, Pollença is 8 km away. The lively Alcúdia and Pollença offer numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants, and bars. The less touristy Sa Pobla is about 5 minutes away and is known for its excellent restaurants. It may not be evident from the facades of the houses, but exceptional cooking takes place behind them. The beautiful beaches of Alcúdia, Pollença, and Alcanada are just a few kilometers away. There is a beach popular among windsurfers and kite surfers between Port de Pollença and Alcúdia. Exploring Mallorca is highly recommended. To go shopping in Palma, you are only 50 km away via the convenient Ma-13 road. This villa is close to the coast but you will need a car nothing is in walking distance so please bare that in mind before booking. If you like a stroll out on a night to a restaurant this isn’t the villa for you. If however your happy staying at the villa using the bbq etc then we can not recommend it enough. It has recently been refurbished so time will tell if the standards are maintained by the service provider. One thing I will say & it is my only negative the beds were probably the most uncomfortable we had ever slept on. So much so I needed to see a physio on my return. A mattress topper to soften the beds would be recommended or a change of mattress. Saying that we have booked again for next summer & I will arrange for a mattress topper for the beds.

We liked the garden and the pool. The accommodation was just about right for our party with plenty of space and good quality furnishings and equipment. The local area was fine with good access to the places we wanted to visit.

There was no details of the local areathe villa, usually we have been provided with a book giving details of the villa, how to operate TV and other aspects of villa, for example pool lights and local amenities shops etc. There was no cold water in tsee more
